It is the last weekend of the Kiel Week. According to that we had a fun sailing regatta in our club today. The weather was nice and even more interesting than that: the wind was strong. It was fun being out there!

HADDEBYER NOOR
So it is time to get prepared for the JOTUNHEIMEN tour this year. I decided to take a short trip round the HADDEBYER NOOR. Challenge 1: I packed my rucksack with some weights; challenge 2: the trip has lots of stairs. So your legs get trained…
The path is actually very nice because it leads through the woods half of the trip.
Because the region was inhabited by the Vikings in ancient times you’ll also find a lot of their signs along the way.
Though the path winds through trees one will always have nice views to the water.
So I really love this trip. Along the way there’s also the HAITHABU museum that has some ancient samples of the Vikings. The trip also passes a defence wall they built in former times. So there’s a lot to see. Please find a brief description of the trip below:
