LOSI MICRO CRAWLER 1/24

Inspired by a friend of mine I bought the RC Losi Micro Crawler, 1/24 scale. It’s a funny toy one could use nearly everywhere. It’s built for the living room and the outside terrain also. It comes along with a battery box that needs to be filled with 8 batteries. By using that the car can be charged independently from 230V. Furthermore it is set up with a GHz RC system. The car itself is a good and easy crawler though the weight balance could be better. But there are a lot of tuning hints in the web. As a summary I definitely can recommend this car.

Aufgrund eines Tipps von einem Freund habe ich mir den Losi Micro Crawler zugelegt. Es ist ein echtes Spaßgerät, das nahezu überall eingesetzt werden kann, im Wohnzimmer genauso wie draußen. Mitgeliefert wird eine Batteriebox, die mit 8 Akkus zu bestücken ist. Über diese kann das Auto unabhängig vom 230V Netz geladen werden. Weiterhin ist eine GHz Fernsteuerung dabei. Das Auto selbst ist ein guter Crawler auch wenn die Gewichtsverteilung besser sein könnte. Aber dafür gibt es genügend Tuning Tipps im Internet. Unterm Strich kann ich das Auto definitiv weiterempfehlen.

NEW PROJECT

Heard about single speed bikes? That's what you you'll see in Berlin everywhere. Clearly inspired by that I'll pick up my old Reynolds 501 frame and convert it into a single speed. Im not 100% sure about the details yet, but the date with my mechanics is set for Friday.

Schon mal was von Single Speed Bikes gehoert? Die sieht man ziemlich oft in Berlin. Dadurch inspiriert, werde ich meinen alten Reynolds 501 Rahmen zum Single Speed umbauen. Ich bin mir ueber die Details noch nicht im Klaren, aber der Termin mit dem Mechaniker steht fuer Freitag.
