Mobiltelefone und PDAs der heutigen Generation sind Strom-hungrig. Das stellt Outdoor Enthusiasten und Reisende immer wieder vor Herausforderungen. Wie komme ich wo rechtzeitig an eine Stromquelle? Insbesondere iPhone Nutzer mit allen aktivierten Netzfunktionen können ein Lied davon singen.

Kern des ganzen ist ein 2200mAh Akku (das Nachfolgemodell hat bereits bessere Leistungsdaten) sowie ein flexibles, nahezu unkaputtbares Solarpanel. Der Akku kann per 230V Ladegerät, 12V Autoladeadapter, 5V USB Kabel oder über das Solarpanel geladen werden.
Meine Erfahrungen mit dem System sind durchweg positiv. Das Solarpanel habe ich eine Woche lang durch Norwegens Berge transportiert. Selbst unsanftes Verstauen im Rucksack hat das Panel ohne Probleme überlebt. Der Akku bietet voll aufgeladen ca. 2,5 iPhone Ladungen. Mit dieser Lösungen hat man an sonnigen Tagen zudem eine realistische Chance den Akku nahezu komplett zu laden. Nette Features für Outdoor Fans: der Akku verfügt über eine kleine LED Taschenlampe und das Gewicht der Lösung ist minimal: ca. 100g für das Panal und 85g für dem Akku. D.h. man bekommt für knappe 200g eine vernünftige Energiequelle.

A lot of them are okay, but many have one drawback: they can just be charged via 230V or 12V supplies. What can be done if you are in the wildness? Appropriate solar systems are often expensive or do have poor performance parameters.
