We had the initial test run on Romo 2 weeks ago, which was the right spot. Plenty of space, no person or animal to disturb and the weather had been okay. After a few mechanical changes we had the cars set up to start the first drive. It was great fun and we soon found out which parts would require a bit more tuning.

HADDEBY TOUR - SUMMERY
The map said that the tour round the HADDEBYER NOOR and the SELKER NOOR would take approximately 3.5h, but obviously without carrying heavy load. It took me 3 hours and 20 minutes, with a load of 17 kilos, and a 30 min lunch break. So I think that’s okay.
The lessons learned are: it’s good to buy the boots early before a planned trip. By doing the first hikes last year I had problems with them, now they are pretty smooth.
The rain trousers and cagoule work out fine.
Looking forward to JOTUNHEIMEN the thing I’m still worried about is the fitness level. Here on flat ground everything seems to be fine. But how about the altitude and the difference in altitude we have to go for. We’ll see, so far I’m enjoying the trip more than ever.
By the way it’s definitely worth hiking the tour I had done today. In ancient times, HADDEBY was populated by Vikings and there are actually a lot of traces to be found. There are runes, defense walls, a museum with huge viking ships and a rebuilt viking settlement.
